We’re happy to announce that we now can use Identify 5.0 with Azure SQL as a service. Just as installing Identify on-premise, Identify configurator will help do all the hard work for you on the Azure environment. However, due to some differences in nature between on-premise and Azure environments, the following features are not supported when Azure SQL as a service is used:
- The Windows Authentication option for the “Select database authentication” setting is not supported.
- SQL Session state.
- MSDTC usage must be disabled as described in:
- IdentifyCache database should be cleaned up periodically by using Azure Web Job.
