Next to the LDAP Web Service Settings is LDAP Attribute Definitions. This UI allows the administrator to define the LDAP attributes, which are used by the LdapProvider plug-in and the LDAP claims transformation.

LDAP Attribute Name: Specifies the LDAP-Display-Name.

Display Name: Specifies the CN.
