Before setting up Safewhere Identify on a fresh server, you need to turn on some required Windows features. This guideline will guide you through steps to install them on a server running Window Server 2019 Data Center.

On the Before You Begin page, click Next.

On the Installation Type page, select Role-based or feature-based installation to configure a single server. Click Next.

On the Server Selection page, select a server from the server pool, and then select the server that you are setting up.

On the Server Roles page, select Web Server (IIS)
and click Next.
Other software
A fresh server usually only has Internet Explorer installed with enhanced security enabled. If you want to use it to download other software, you will need to disable the enhanced security feature. You can skip this step if you have another browser available.
Next, you need to download and install Safewhere Identify and .NET packages:
- Download the latest Safewhere Identify installer from the Safewhere's download page
- Download and install all required software as mentioned in the Software's requirements section on the download page. Basically, you need to install the following Microsoft's packages:
- .NET Framework 4.8. Sometimes, .NET Framework 4.8 is installed automatically by Windows updates.
ASP.NET
