We have introduced a new action in the Identify Configurator (IC) and Command-Line Interface (CLI) that allows you to redeploy Safewhere Admin across all tenants simultaneously.
Note: In our documents, "Safewhere Admin" and "Identify Admin" can be used interchangeably.
Redeploy Safewhere Admin for all Identify tenants
The deployment logic for all existing tenants follows the same process as the Reconfigure > Deploy Safewhere Admin feature. However, there is an additional requirement: Safewhere Admin will only be redeployed if the tenant's Identify version matches the version of the Identify Configurator, but its Safewhere Admin version is outdated.
Identify Configurator
A new action, Deploy Safewhere Admin to instance, has been added to the action list in the Identify Configurator (IC).
Selecting this action opens the Mass Deploy Safewhere Admin wizard.
Simply follow the steps in the wizard, pressing Next to complete the process.
Command-Line interface (CLI)
A new MassDeploySafewhereAdmin
command has been added to the Command-Line Interface (CLI).
For more details, refer to the Mass Deploy Safewhere Admin CLI documentation.
Error handling
After the mass Safewhere Admin deployment process completes, an error message notifies you if any tenants failed to deploy Safewhere Admin successfully.
Error reporting
A CSV file is generated after execution, listing all tenants where Safewhere Admin deployment was either failed or skipped.
The file, named MassDeploySafewhereAdmin*FaultyResult*#DateTime#.csv
, contains detailed information about the affected tenants, helping you troubleshoot the issues effectively.
